Partnerships and Residencies
The Apollo has established relationships with several schools. Our School Partnerships engage school communities through a variety of programs focused on the Apollo Theater and Harlem within the context of American history, arts and culture. Residencies and workshops are just one way that the Apollo Theater Education Program begins to forge relationships that lead to School Partnerships.
Workshops and residencies range from one-day to school-year long intensives for grades K-12. Every residency is designed with state and national learning standards in mind and all engage students in project-based, hands-on learning activities.
