Saturday Workshop Series
The Saturday Workshop Series is a FREE program open to students in grades 9 - 12. Classes meet on Saturdays for 10 weeks. Spring 2014 classes take place beginning March 1 through May 3, from 11:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.. Students get to work with members of the Apollo Theater’s production crew, while learning what it takes to put on a live theatrical production. The Saturday Workshop Series provides participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to explore technical careers in the arts and entertainment industries.
You are eligible to participate in the Saturday Workshop Series if...
- You are a high school student with a valid school ID, school record/schedule, or report card.
- You are available and commit to attending each Saturday from March 1 through May 3, 2014.
- You are interested in behind-the-scenes careers in the arts, theater, or entertainment industry
- You and a parent/guardian are both available to attend an orientation on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 5:30 p.m.
Apply today for the 2014 Apollo Theater Academy Saturday Workshop Series. Space is limited; therefore, not everyone who applies may be selected to participate.
All participants are required to attend an orientation prior to the beginning of the program and must be available and commit to attending the entire 10-session program.
